Meet Your Computer Science Education Manager

Bio & Contact

Amy Hobson is the Computer Science Education Manager for Brooklyn North as part of the Office of Postsecondary Readiness’ Computer Science 4 All (CS4All) Team. Prior to her position as CS Education Manager, Amy served as a classroom and technology teacher for 18 years. During her time as an educator, she helped teachers integrate technology into their curriculum, created multi-disciplinary project based learning units, facilitated professional development workshops on technology integration, wrote technology curriculum, and lead parent outreach on digital literacy. Her expertise in educational technology and computer science has allowed her to design professional learning opportunities on educational technology and computer science programs. Amy holds a B.A. in Photography from St. Edward’s University and an M.S. from Touro College in Education and Special Education.
