We ❤ CS Ed Week!

Computer Science Education Week (CS Ed Week) is an annual effort dedicated to inspire K-12 students to take interest in computer science. Launched in December of 2009, CS Ed Week celebrates the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Hopper and reaches tens of millions of students in 180+ countries.

Join the growing number of schools and educators in NYC bringing computer science to their students by hosting an Hour of Code or other CS Community Event December 5-11, 2016.

Don’t know where to start? Check out our guide to getting started with CS Ed Week and consider joining us on November 5th for a CS Ed Week teacher training to help you plan your activity.

If you already have a burgeoning CS program at your school, try organizing a school-based hackathon for your students with the help of our Hack Pack.

Let us know what you are doing for CS Ed Week by completing this survey by November 23rd. We’d love to share your amazing work with the world!
